Amazing what a marketing spin can do to the image of this air car hype. Tell me what you think!
Amazing what a marketing spin can do to the image of this air car hype. Tell me what you think!
It seems like the latest in “eco-friendly” cars. Air cars have speeds up to 68 MPH and can go about 115 Miles before they need refuling. Unfortunately they have yet to figure out how to ”air them up” by using non-coal or gas means. I think the world will take these cars more seriously when that happens. Besides I think their fibre glass body makes them very unsafe and I think until they make them more safe, and until they figure out how to load this car with “non-fossil-fuel” based compressed air, these cars will just be novelties. What do you think?
Is it me or does the new 2007 Honda CR-V look like the BMW X5 from certain angles. Its looks marvelous! I must looks can be a little misleading. I keep hearing about slightly uncomfortable seats, so if you like this suv makes you sit in it, and test drive it and make sure you feel comfortable driving it around. The new Honda CR-V has lots of good stuff of its processors, but since this is the first version of their new design, I am sure there is a fair bit of room for minor fine tuning.
My first car was a Honda Civic and I loved it! I do not ever recall it in for repair beyond the regular maintainance. Amazing!
I love these videos. Helps my buyers get a more personal understanding of their buys before actually considering them seriously.
Would you attend such a Hybrid Car festival?
Hybrid cars are the US trend now a days. But many part of the world have done away with fuel altogether. Try all fuel directly from plants. ie Ethanol Run Cars.
In Brazil this is big: http://www.newsfactor.com/news/Toyota-Shows-Ethanol-Cars-in-Brazil/story.xhtml?story_id=11300AFQ9K8X
I understand all this ethanol can be derived from many type of plants. Amazing huh? Not only do these plants help reduce our dependence on oil, but also help create more plants on this planet. Go figure why we are so late in adopting these type of cars here… i guess oil lobbyists are friends with our prez!
I understand that the only side effect of this ethanol is sweet smelling air… don’t know what that is like so.. i will not know until one of you tell me what that is like…
Like new cars? I love them so much so that I have decided to start bogging about the ones the ones that fascinate me.
The car on my mind today is the 2008 Lexus LS600h. I know very few of us have actually seen it or for that matter heard of it for now (since it just launched.), but it always gets me thinking why anyone would pay a huge price tag to save on gas driving a hybrid car.
I think I just answered my own question. It’s a status thing, and also a environment conscious thing. This car represents the fact that the owner can afford luxury (thus status) but also like to save the environment. Definitely this 2008 Lexus LS600h will be the talk of your peers.
If you had the money would you buy this car instead of say the regular Lexus in the same class? I think I would!
Also feel free to check out the press release on this car at:
